Q: How do I change the reel retrieve direction on my A-Series Starter Package Reel?

A: To change the reel retrieve from left hand to right hand, you need to first release the spool from the frame. Set the frame aside. On the inside of the spool, you will see a metal hexagonal clip that is held in place by small tabs and this clip is holding the bearing housing in place. Take a small screw driver and pry one of the ends of the clip out from under the tabs. Make sure you hold your finger over the clip so that it does not go flying out of the spool. Once you remove the clip, you need to flip the spool over and the bearing housing will come out. Flip the bearing house over and reinstall it. Replace the hexagonal clip to secure the bearing housing. At this point the reel retrieve direction in change, but you will need to strip off the the backing and line and reinstall it in the opposite direction--turn the drag knob all the way to the right to tighten it and you will only be able to freely turn the spool in one direction--that is the direction the line should go on the spool.

A: Call us at (585)-967-FISH or Toll Free at 1-844-959-FISH.  We sell tip sections for $15-$25 (depending on the rod model)  Shipping charges are $5.95.  You will need the rod model when you call (located on the rod handle section).

Q: How long will it take to get my order? What carriers do you use?

A: We process and ship orders within 24-36 hours after your order has been placed.  Standard shipping delivers within 3-5 business days.  We ship via USPS Priority Mail and USPS First Class Mail.  Faster USPS 2 Day service is availabe for an additonal charge.  Orders places after 4pm EST will be processed the next business day.

 

Q: What credit cards do you accept?

A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

 

Q: Do you accept PayPal payments?

A: Yes.  

 

Q: Do you have any dealers that carry your products?

Q: What does the Lifetime Warranty cover?

A: Our warranty covers anything that might happen to your fly rod--no questions asked.  To file a warranty repair, simply send us your rod with the $35 warranty fee and we will take care of repairing or replacing your rod.

A: We do send out a newsletter that contains limited time specials and coupon codes to redeem on our website.  You can sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of any page on our website.
