Fly Rod: 9/10 weight, 9', 4 Piece, medium-fast action IM8 matte black graphite fly rod. Has machined black aluminum reel seat with double lock rings and laser etched butt cap, 7” long, Western style cork handle with compressed cork accent rings, 2” extension butt, two stainless steel stripper guides with silicon carbide rings, stainless single foot guides and tip top. Each section is 28 ¾ ” long.
Rod Case: 32” hard tube rod case with, reel pouch and side storage pouch with zipper. The case will hold rod, reel, fly box and all the accessories. Case has a carry strap and hang ring.
Rod Bag: 4-section cloth rod bag with ties. Fly rod is placed in the bag before storing in the tube for the best protection.
Fly Reel: 95mm diameter spool, die cast aluminum, adjustable disc drag. Comes preinstalled with chartreuse, WF10-F, weight forward 10, floating fly line, 30# orange backing and 9’ 0X tapered monofilament leader. All Wild Water fly reels are easily changed from left to right hand retrieve. Reel will come in left hand retrieve unless right hand is requested.
Fly Box: Waterproof, Floating, 5.25" x 3.5" x 1.25", custom box design, custom foam design, holds up to 372 flies.
Flies: 5 flies total; size 4, swimming crab (qty.2); size 2, red and white deceiver (qty. 2); size 1/0, green long tail eel (qty. 1)
Spare Leader: 9’ 0X tapered monofilament leader, qty. 1

Got the 10 wt combo and used in the golf of Mexico. Cought a 40# bull red on this combo. Held up like a champ. I changed out the fly line. But rod and reel held nice.

Perfect Salt Water starter

Aw ell made set up with plenty of casting power. Backing, line and pre-spooled leader are all good quality. I had an issue with my reel coming loose and the team at Wild Water fixed it right away with a replacement. I would order this again as it did the job just fine. Caught fish on my first cast with provided flies.

The fly rod that could.

I used this rod for flats fishing in Key West. I would rate it's casting ability average, but it's fighting ability superior. Hooked a five foot black tip shark, a very aggressive fast fish. With drag on maximum this fish would have taken all the line without the guide firing off the engine and chasing it. Fought this fish for a full hour of maximum drag. When it slowed down, it towed the boat. The fighting butt was a must have. The rod worked perfectly and is still in top condition. The reel and drag worked perfectly and is still in top condition. This is a very tough outfit.
