Wild Water has always been looking for exciting ways to get back to nature. Tenkara fishing originates in Japan has become quite popular here in the United States. Our Tenkara rod is a 12' rod with 9 telescoping sections. This Tenkara fly fishing rod is finished in a matte black color and weighs only 3 ounces and when all the sections are stored in the butt section, the total length of the rod is only 19 3/4". This 12' fly rod will come in a storage case that is 22" long.

Great rod, great company

I love backpacking with my Tenkara rod, so when i accidentally broke one of the segments, you can imagine how bummed I was. Fortunately Wildwater has a fabulous repair/replacement program and they were able to get me all fixed up and ready to go fishing again! Super stoked!
