Great rod and reel! 
I'm a new fly fisher and wanted a good quality set up. I found it with my rod and reel from Wild Water. Easy set up. Great handling and very smooth reel. I'm pleased.

    • Fly Rod: 5/6 weight, 9', 4 Piece, slow action fly rod. Has machined aluminum reel seat with double lock rings and laser etched butt cap, 7” long, Western style cork handle with compressed cork accent rings, stainless steel stripper guide with silicon carbide rings, stainless single foot guides and tip top. Each section is 28” long.
    • Rod Case: 32” hard tube rod case with, reel pouch and side storage pouch with zipper. The case will hold rod, reel, fly box and all the accessories. Case has a carry strap and hang ring.
    • Rod Bag: 4-section cloth rod bag with ties. Fly rod is placed in the bag before storing in the tube for the best protection.
    • Fly Reel: 85mm diameter spool, die cast aluminum, adjustable disc drag. Comes preinstalled with chartreuse, WF5-F, weight forward 5, floating fly line, 20# orange backing and 9’ 5X tapered monofilament leader. All Wild Water fly reels are easily changed from left to right hand retrieve. Reel will come in left hand retrieve unless right hand is requested.
    • Fly Box: Waterproof, Floating, 5.25" x 3.5" x 1.25", custom box design, custom foam design, holds up to 372 flies.
    • Flies: 9 flies total; size 14, winged black ant (qty.3); size 14, gold ribbed hare’s ear (qty. 3); size 14, parachute Adams (qty. 3)
    • Spare Leader: 9’ 5X tapered monofilament leader, qty. 1
    • Accessories: retractable reel (qty. 1), line nipper with nail knot tying tool and poker for cleaning out the eyes of fly hooks (qty. 1)
    • Where Used: This package is best suited for trout, panfish, small bass, small to medium streams, ponds, and backpacking.

    Fly fishing fun

    Good, a couple guys snickered when they saw me, but I had a great time below the dam at Cumberland lake. Didn't catch any fish, but had great as t time.

    Amazing quality kit

    First off I’m am blown away by the quality of this entire kit. Everything feels amazing and looks perfect. Exactly what I want out of a starter kit. Super happy with the extras they include. Will be using this kit for many years to come and will definitely be purchasing from wild water again! 10/10 would recommend :)

    Haven't had a chance to use the fly rod. To cold here. But inspecting both units they look great as i expected they would. I'll let you know later this summer how they performed out in Arizona on the east fork of the black river in the Apache White Mt. Range Nat. Forest. Very pleased with the combo units.
