Yes! We actually use our own rods. Wild Water doesn’t put components in our kits that you don’t need just to make it seem like you are getting a good deal. In most cases we redesigned components of the kit to make it work better than the competition.  

The only other USA companies that do the same level of design and testing are going to charge you over $200 for a similar product. Every Wild Water package arrives at your door ready-to-fish. All you need to do is put the rod together, attach the reel, thread the line and tie on a fly.

3 wt flyreel

The reel looks to be well made. It feels smooth. It is winter in wyoming so I can't fish with it. It looks and feels nice. I don't expect any problems

Great reel for the price point!

Because of my work schedule and the weather, I have not been able to get on the water with the reel but it is set up on my 10’-6” euro rod and ready to go.The reel shipped right away and arrived when indicated. I will be shopping Wild Water Fly Fishing again!
